Year in Review 2011 A Year In Review: 2011Year in Review 2011 by =itsaki
I can't believe it's been two years since the last time I wrote one of these. Time's a funny thing sometimes. At the most inopportune times, it seems to ache by slower than an elderly man with arthritis who keeps forgetting where he's going. But then, once that time is up, it seems as though that time had gone by in a flash. I would say that that was true for this past year, but I'd be lying. After 2011, it feels as though it's always been 2011. It's 5:47 in the morning on the first day of a new year, and I'm sitting in the exact same place I was sitting when I wrote the last Review. But it's not the start or the end t

Forever never lasts I remember when we were children; the autumn leaves were so fascinating as they danced about our miniature feet. You used to laugh along with me as we both skipped in the breeze that shook the dying world around us, we laughed whilst tripping and tumbling into the bright orange sea of crunch and snap... How fantastic.Forever never lasts by ~MissSparkey
I remember when we were young; the ice that laced the ground beneath our feet seemed so amusing to jump upon, and crack into tiny pieces. We used to find big strips of it, like a large white stripe in the road, and take one large run up towards it, and then skidded across it like the ice surfers we were.

"Winter" by :devwarzonestoic:
A short yet wonderful piece on a new
take of winter. When one thinks of
winter, one usually sees beauty; this
piece focuses on the brutality of winter
that perhaps is what gives us the sense of beauty.

"The Feeling of Feeling Unique" by :devxTwoStepFour20x:
An incredibly amazing and creepy poem about an encounter
with a supposed "monster." The vivid images and haunting
language will leave you with shivers and the constant need
to check over your shoulder to make sure nobody's there.

"Her Knees" by :devReynbowz:
This poem proves that you can tell
a lot about a person by just looking
at their knees. Whether they're rich,
poor, bruised, or well off, simple knees
can tell a whole story.
